Spectacular Hand Painted Kitchen for Esher Showroom
We Love Hand Painting Kitchens especially when they are all new units and ready to paint. Our recent project was for Bruce Sizeland in Esher where the owner required his main kitchen display to receive the loving attention of our two lady team.
Whilst not much preparation work was required, as is the case when we hand paint kitchen units, in projects to rejuvenate older kitchens, this project had additional challenges. This kitchen was Floor to Ceiling and those ceilings were high. Then of course it being a kitchen showroom there were lots and lots of units most requiring a minimum of 5 coats of paint to achieve that “showroom finish”. As stipulated by Bruce we used Farrow and Ball paint - Ammonite for the Wall Units and Paean Black for the Island. This combination produced a spectacular finish.
Whilst this project was relatively straight forward with the kitchen cabinets being new, we love the challenge, and eventual satisfaction of restoring an older kitchen with some modern shades of paint. Most think they need to replace an outdated kitchen…not so as hand painting a kitchen can give it a new lease of life and importantly save you thousands.
